Getting here from afar
Distance is not measured in kilometers anymore, but in the difficulty of getting somewhere. It can seem easier to get to New York than to Vitsaniemi. It seems we’ve forgotten that the journey is part of the experience.
We champion a knowledge of northern Europe, especially of Tornedalen, and try to make it as easy as possible to get to us. Our location, however, remains remote. Which is, after all, what makes us special.

By train to Haparanda (travel time about 2 hours) and then bus Line 53 or Line 54 (travel time about 1 hour). Your stop is Risudden Byn väg 99.
By bus from Luleå Busstation to Risudden Byn väg 99 (total traveltime about 4 hours, including 1-2 bus changes).
